Come spend Halloween night with us at SPIDERWEEN! Our backyard will be covered with cobwebs and Halloween decorations for trick-or-treating. If it rains, the fun will move indoors.
FREE ALL EVENING
Candy, popcorn, coffee, art activities and more.
Young individuals can paint Spider-Man faces on rocks, create rock pumpkins and enjoy other hands-on activities.
SPIDER-MAN FILMS IN THE ART ROOM
Spider-Man films will play from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
ORIGINAL SPIDER-MAN COSTUME CONTEST
Create your own original Spider-Man-inspired costume for a chance to win a gift card.
Contest divisions:
Adults, ages 18 and older
Teenagers, ages 12 to 17
Spider-Baby, ages 11 and younger
One gift-card winner will be selected in each division.
Costumes will be judged on creativity, originality, visible effort and connection to the Spider-Man theme.
COSTUME RULES
Your costume must be homemade, assembled by you or meaningfully customized. You may use everyday clothing, cardboard, fabric, paint, recycled materials, makeup, handmade accessories and purchased pieces as part of your original design. Parents and guardians may help children create their costumes.
A complete premade or store-bought Spider-Man costume worn as purchased will not qualify for the competition.
Costumes must allow safe movement and clear vision. Sharp or dangerous props are not permitted.
Contest registration closes at 7 PM. Judging begins at 8:30 PM. Gift cards will be presented after the judges make their selections.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Free parking is available across the street.
Sponsored by Hill City Mindfulness Recovery Group, a peer-led recovery group that meets every Friday. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the group begins at 7 PM.
