Step into the warmth of a festive apothecary with The Historical Herbalists for a cosy, creative experience rooted in historical household recipes and Yuletide traditions.Surrounded by fragrant herbs and aromatic spices, you’ll enjoy plenty of hands-on making while discovering how people once used plants, scent and simple household ingredients to bring comfort, cheer and wellbeing through the darker months.
Blend luscious scents for the home straight from the pages of Tudor receipt books, make traditional mulled wine sachets, craft a richly spiced vinegar, and prepare a special 17th century winter salve – all lovely to keep or give as handmade festive gifts.
