Scenario:
Russia is expending billions of Rubles, using archaic equipment, and is now facing a vast European Continent united to stop her, no matter the cost.
Seeking to distract Europe from Ukraine, Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, orders the 11th Army Corps in the Kaliningrad Pocket to invade Poland from the North, and secure a hold on the region by occupying Port Lotniczy Olsztyn Mazury Airport. Once this objective is taken, Russian Forces, joined by her allies, can punch out from Belarus and ship cargo, men, and equipment to Poland, so as to open a second front. Russian fighter jets and close air support craft are on hot standby at bases supplied by their ally, Belarus.
Putin's private army, The Wagner Group, advise that they have hacked into NATO systems and have disabled computer networks so much that NATO won't respond in-time–his spies had previously done marvelous work interfering in the internal affairs of several notable governments in the west, and so Putin rests easy that this event will be over before NATO can respond.
But Putin has miscalculated--NATO has secretly been tipped off by Ukraine via its drones, and unknown to Putin, American forces have been silently flooding its joint bases in Europe, thanks in large part to the landslide victory of a new administration in both the executive and legislative, which renewed its commitment to the North Atlantic Treaty.
America, via its eFP (enhanced Forward Presence) Battle Group Poland, orders its Armored Brigade Combat Teams, Combat Aviation Brigade, and Armored Cavalry Combat Team to be ready for action, and assembles in the west.
Relieved and grateful for a new commitment to NATO with the UK's closest ally, Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the UK, orders the British led NATO division, some 9,500 strong into action, while Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, orders two divisions of the Polish Army into action.
The entire 12,000 strong 11th Russian Army Corps lurches south and meets Polish Army forces defending the airport, with the British led NATO division approaching from the south, and the American forces appraching from the west. Rumor has it that Allied special forces at the highly secretive Camp Miron near the Russian border, have activated and are enroute to cut off Russian reinforcements, rumored to be the Wagner Group, approaching from the East.
To contain the situation, The Royal Navy, in conjunction with a US Destroyer Squadron, have blockaded the Russian Baltic Fleet, and are on standby to launch cruise missile strikes, while Norwegian Fighter Jets patrol the skies. A-10 Warthogs are on the way from Rammstein AFB in Germany.
More help is on the way, but will it be enough?
Each combat command will have an armor troop/AFV troop, infantry company, commander, and perhaps another asset.
I will bring the British Forces, and will have armor for America and Britain. I hope Ray can bring American forces, and/or Polish/Russians. If you have any forces, bring them!
