About this Event
What if we could see what happens when we decide, together, where our money goes?
On Saturday, October 17, we’re taking over Historic Downtown Lancaster for Spend The Block — a community crawl featuring local businesses, food, shopping, special offers and experiences throughout the district.
But this isn’t just a day to shop downtown.
Spend The Block is a local activation of , a larger movement built around the economic power of where we spend. Twice a year, people intentionally spend with woman-owned businesses and we track those purchases to measure the collective impact.
This fall, our goal is to track $250,000 in spending with woman-owned businesses.
Fork And Femme officially takes place on October 21, but every purchase made during Spend The Block on October 17 will count toward that $250,000 goal.
That means when you grab lunch, buy something from a local shop, book a service or make a purchase, you’re not just supporting a local business. You’re helping us show what happens when we move our money together.
Lancaster is part of the count. And every purchase counts.
From 11 AM–4 PM, explore Historic Downtown Lancaster at your own pace. Stop in for a bite or a drink. Shop somewhere you haven’t been before. Discover businesses hiding in plain sight. Look for featured stops, special offers, tastings and experiences along the way.
Come for an hour. Stay for the afternoon. Bring somebody with you. Spend The Block.
