About this Event
Before we rush into a brand new year, this Spell School is about slowing down, celebrating what we have, and working with the energy of the season to call in more.
Welcome to Spell School Newport! A beginner-friendly evening exploring Yule, winter abundance and seasonal spellwork.
You don't need any prior knowledge, belief, or experience to be here. Just curiosity.
In this session, we'll cover:
- What Yule is and why the winter solstice has been celebrated for so long
- The symbolism of darkness, returning light, rest and renewal
- Traditional Yule correspondences including evergreens, candles, herbs, spices and seasonal ingredients
- What abundance actually means beyond just money
- How gratitude, receiving and intention can all be worked into abundance magic
- How to choose ingredients that actually make sense for the intention you're working with
- Hands-on practical work: you'll create your own Yuletide abundance spell to take home with you
- A guided group working to charge your spellwork and close the year with intention
This isn't about forcing yourself into "new year, new me" mode before Christmas has even finished.
It's about recognising what has grown, what has supported you, what you want more of, and creating something intentional to carry that energy forward.
Who this is for:
Complete beginners, the curious, and anyone who wants to explore seasonal spellwork and abundance magic in a way that feels grounded, practical and actually meaningful - no experience necessary, everything offered is invitational.
What to bring:
Just yourself. All materials are provided.
