Speed Sketching is⚡️BACK⚡️ for some Halloween fun this October. This will be the usual portrait drawing workshop but with a twist: It's also a costume party! We will practice drawing portraits of each other, all while in costume. We will end up with some unique drawings, and the opportunity to include fun accessories and makeup in them. Spooky snacks will also be available at a small refreshments bar.‼️If you haven't been to Speed Sketching before, read below for details‼️
HOW IT WORKS
Open to all ages and skill levels, you are invited to unleash your creativity and meet likeminded individuals! Grab some refreshments and find a seat. We will begin with some demonstrations and introductory exercises. After the warm up, participants will take turns drawing each other in time frames ranging from 5 minutes to 30 seconds. We will be switching partners and mingling a LOT! By the end of the session you will have drawn many different faces!
• MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED • :)
We will work with sheets of tan paper, soft willow charcoal, and permanent marker. Feel free to bring any other supplies for yourself!
Tickets are $18, and spots are limited! To reserve your seat scan the QR on this flyer or follow link in this post.
My goal is to encourage community interaction via quick live drawings (and to also squash your perfectionism!)
