About this Event
Twelve men. Twelve women. One room in Vancouver.
You get seven minutes with each person. Then a bell rings and you move on. By 10pm you'll have met twelve people - which is about twelve more than an app gives you in a month.
No opening line to invent. No walking across a room. No wondering whether someone's actually single. The structure does the hard part; you just show up and be yourself for seven minutes at a time.
HOW THE NIGHT RUNS
6:30 - Doors, check-in, lanyard, first drink
7:05 - Briefing. Ninety seconds.
7:15 - Rounds one to six
8:03 - Intermission. Breathe.
8:20 - Rounds seven to twelve
9:08 - Cards in. Bar stays open.
10am Friday - your matches, by email
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Real contact details, next morning. You tick yes or no on a card. They never see it. The next morning you get one email with every mutual yes and their actual contact details - not a login portal you have to remember to check.
Photos are opt-in. You choose a green lanyard if you're happy to be photographed, or a plain one if you're not. Most events run this the other way round and make it your problem to opt out. We don't.
Even sides, always. Twelve per side, capped independently. The two sides never run more than three apart, so nobody sits out a round.
