About This Event
We have chosen this stunning venue in the heart of Mayfair located just a few minutes walk from Bond Street tube station making it convenient to access. Mercato Metropolitano is situated in a converted grade two listed Church and is a truly wonderful place to go on a first date. Aside from the stunning architecture, there are dozens of pop up food stalls, a wine cellar, their own gin distillery & micro brewery (did we mention the secret roof terrace?) prices are reasonable with a beer or glass of wine setting you back £5. The beauty of Mercato is it's lively and after the event ends there are plenty of things to do and explore with your date(s).
So, let's cut to the chase.
On arrival at 7:30pm you will be greeted by one of our hosts who will check you in and put you at ease. Newbie? Don't worry, you're in safe hands. We can introduce you to other people on their own and buddy you up straight away. Once everyone has arrived at around 8pm the host will explain how the event works and the event starts.
Women will be seated on individual tables and the men will rotate every 4-5 minutes. The host will blow a whistle to signal the end of each round. 4 minutes might seem short but believe us when we say it's long enough. Time flies when you're having fun right?!
After each date you can make notes on your scorecards and input your matches when you get home through our website or you can save the hassle and log them straight on your phone after each round.
Our Thursday night events typically have around 15-20 dates with a great mix of people and personalities so there is bound to be someone who will make you laugh, cry or possibly punch in the face!
