📚🇺🇸 SPECIAL MILITARY BOOK & MEMORABILIA SALE 🇺🇸📚History buffs, collectors and military enthusiasts won’t want to miss this special sale hosted by the Friends of Johnson County Public Library!
Join us Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Johnson County Armory for a unique collection of military books and memorabilia, including many items related to Civil War history. This sale is held as part of Military Day: Service, Sacrifice and Stories, hosted by the libraries of Johnson County and supported by the three Rotary Clubs of Johnson County. The event is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Many of these special items were donated by the estate of Dan Mitchell, a former JCPL Foundation and JCPL Trustee board member and an avid collector of U.S. military history. We’re honored to share a portion of his collection with the community and help preserve his appreciation for history.
Whether you’re a lifelong collector, a history enthusiast, or simply looking for a one-of-a-kind find, there will be plenty to explore.
Great books. Treasured history. Supporting our library.
All proceeds benefit the Friends of Johnson County Public Library and help support the Library and its programs.
