Poppies in Pottery | Remembrance Day SpecialCreate. Remember. Give back. 🌺
This Remembrance Day, join us at iCreated Studio for a very special edition of our hand-building pottery workshops.
During this 2.5-hour creative experience, you'll be guided through the process of creating up to three beautiful ceramic poppies by hand.
Starting with clay, you'll learn how to form and shape your petals, create the characteristic poppy centres and bring each flower together. There are no moulds and no expectation that every flower should look the same. In fact, we think their little differences are what will make your collection particularly beautiful.
Once you've finished building, it's time for colour. 🎨
You'll paint your poppies during the workshop, choosing how you'd like to bring your own collection to life. After the session, we'll carefully dry your pieces before clear glazing and firing them in our kiln.
Your finished ceramic poppies will then be ready to collect from the studio once their kiln journey is complete.
🌺 A WORKSHOP WITH A LITTLE EXTRA MEANING
In recognition of Remembrance Day, 20% of all ticket sales from this special workshop will be donated to the 2026 Poppy Appeal, supporting veterans and their families.
