Join us for Johnson City Silent Book Club‘s SPECIAL BONUS reading meetup - at the Philosopher's Teahouse (117 W Fairview Ave, Johnson City, TN 37604)! As this was a bit of a last-minute switcheroo and in order to accommodate the book club right after us (the very cool-sounding Tea & Tomes book club!) we are shifting both the start and end times of this a half hour earlier. Pass the word so no one is surprised!Bring any book(s) you want, print/ebook/audio (or - they have an extensive donated library to pluck an impulsive choice from!) and settle in with us, order something to eat or drink, enjoy the company of fellow readers.
The format: this time we start at 1:30pm, with the first 30 minutes spent informally getting settled and chatting, then an official hour to silently read together, then the last 30 minutes opened up for further friendly discussion as you wish (no obligation to socialize!)
