All members of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church are encouraged to attend two important congregational meetings following worship on Sunday, November 15.Special Congregational Meeting – 10:45 a.m.
We will gather briefly to consider a proposed amendment to our congregation's Constitution that would remove the two-consecutive-term limit for elected Council officers. Church Council recommends this change to provide greater flexibility for those willing to continue serving in congregational leadership.
Annual Congregational Meeting – Approximately 10:55 a.m.
Immediately following the Special Meeting, we will begin our regular Annual Congregational Meeting. In addition to our usual annual business, the agenda will include a vote to ratify the proposed constitutional amendment, if approved at the Special Meeting.
Both meetings are important opportunities to participate in the life and leadership of Peace as we look toward the year ahead.
