At least fourteen golf courses have existed in these river and creek systems. Scott's talk will focus on the golf courses no longer with us, and some of the salient details of those courses that still remain.
Scott Burk is a Toronto golf historian and author of two books with Joanne Doucette, Toronto’s Lost Golf Courses (Volumes I & II). Born in Etobicoke, Scott has been a lifelong golfer who played in his early days at the Scarlett Woods Golf Club at a time when the club had just opened. Scott blends deep archival research with a storyteller’s eye, bringing to life the fairways and clubs that disappeared as the city expanded.
