More Than One Way to Make a DifferenceWhat do aerospace manufacturing, youth sports, and writing books have in common? For Allison Giddens, they're all different ways to make a difference.
Allison is the Co-Owner and Co-President of Win-Tech, Inc., a Kennesaw-based aerospace precision manufacturing company supporting military and defense programs. She's also the founder of The Dave Krache Foundation, a nonprofit that helps children participate in organized sports regardless of their family's financial circumstances.
Somewhere between running a business, volunteering in the community, and everything else life throws her way, Allison also found time to write two books: The Middle of the Sandwich: Small Business Reality in the Defense Supply Chain and Stateless.
Join us as Allison shares stories from the machine shop, the nonprofit world, and her adventures in writing, exploring how making a difference can take many forms, and sometimes happen in the most unexpected places.
