Speak Your Truth

Speak Your Truth is a children's focused poetry event run on the 2nd Sunday of every month encouraging our leaders of tomorrow a regular space to explore cell-ph expression and their u-nique worlds via poetry.

March's Workshops will be facilitated by Nat Nye The Lyrical Alkhemist.

Nat Nye has mesmerised audiences across the arts and creative industries across the UK, sharing his words, sound and powah as a Roundhouse Poet, BFI Southbank, Wilderness Festival as well as making an appearance on BBC Radio London Dotton Adebayo Show to name a few.

Info: Speak Your Truth is a 3 hour interactive poetry workshop split into 2 sessions for children ages 5-15 years and the itinerary is as follows:- 11am-12:30pm is catered for younger children aged 5 - 11 years. 12:30pm - 2:30pm is catered for older children aged 12-15 years (please note this can change on the day depending on ticket sales) The session will begin with the host completing introductions, fun ice breaker games and breathwork followed by a poetry workshop run by the orator. The session will concluding with each child sharing the poetry they have written. By providing a safe space for cell-ph expression via poetry will build confidence in public speaking leading them to be better communicators.
