Artist Residency Studio & Mémoires des corps Exhibition Visit

Join us for an exclusive visit to Marie-Claire Messouma Manlanbien’s Mémoires des

corps — the first UK solo exhibition by the Paris-based artist.

Through textile, drawing, sculpture, video-performance, and installation, Marie-Claire’s

practice explores how ideas of femininity and the cosmos intersect across cultures,

generations, and materials.

Our visit will include:

• A Director’s Welcome

• A Curator-led tour of the exhibition

• The opportunity to meet the current group of residency artists at

Gasworks — visiting from Lebanon, Tunisia, Peru, New Zealand, and

Zimbabwe

We will conclude with a selection of artist studio visits, followed by light

refreshments served during the session.
