Two hours. Better presentations. A cause that matters.
About this Event
I’ve spent much of my professional life helping people become more effective presenters—teachers, business leaders, professionals, TEDx speakers, and people who simply have something important to say.
This time, I’m donating what I know.
As one of this year’s American Cancer Society Portraits of Hope, I’m offering a special two-hour presentation workshop, with 100% of every $75 registration fee donated to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
And yes—we’ll work.
This won’t be two hours of sitting while I talk about public speaking. You’ll participate in a non threatening way, think, laugh, and leave with practical tools you can use the very next time you stand in front of a group.
We’ll explore how to:
• Get clear about what you really want your audience to think, feel, or do
• Organize your ideas so people can follow—and remember—them
• Use stories to create connection
• Create stronger beginnings and endings
• Use slides without letting the slides take over
• Manage nervousness and build confidence
• Practice and deliver in ways that make people want to listen
Whether you present in a boardroom, classroom, conference room, community organization—or occasionally find yourself standing at a podium wondering what on earth to do with your hands—this workshop is for you.
