Sparkling Glass Sand Dollar WorkshopJoin Melbourne Beach artist, Delynn Ellis, for a fun, Make-Your-Own-Glass Sand Dollar workshop at the Barrier Island Center!In this creative class, offered by Glass by Delynn Creations, students will choose their own colors and design a fused glass sand dollar approximately 4”. You’ll learn the fundamentals of glass cutting and designing with colorful art glass while exploring the fascinating process of glass fusing—the art of arranging glass pieces and melting them together in a kiln at extremely high temperatures.

- Materials: $30 (cash collected the day of class)
No experience is necessary! Space is limited to 18 students. All student creations will be fired off-site in a kiln and will be available for pickup at the sanctuary the following week or delivered to you with prepaid shipping.Family-Friendly:
Children are welcome to participate when accompanied by a parent who is also taking the class.You can choose to add onto your sand dollar by turning it into an ornament, garden stake, napkin weight, or framed art.
