SpaceCamp Presents: Bass Station vol. 002
Buckle up, bass heads — Bass Station is back for Volume 002 !
Following the overwhelming response and energy from our inaugural session, we’re excited to return to the one and only 27 Club on Saturday, October 3rd for another night of unforgettable music and shared connection on the dance floor!
From jungle and liquid to neurofunk and halftime, Bass Station explores the full spectrum of drum & bass while staying rooted in weight, atmosphere, and movement. This series was created for the dancers, bass heads, jungle lovers, and anyone curious to experience a side of drum & bass driven by energy, immersion, and connection!
Once again, the mighty Subrooted Soundsystem will be at the centre of the experience. This one-of-a-kind, Ottawa-built custom rig delivers chest-rattling low end with crisp mids and highs, ensuring every tune is felt as much as it is heard. Rooted in sound-system culture, it’s all about clarity, impact, and full-body bass.
Volume 001 laid the foundation. Now, we’re ready to take things even deeper with another star studded lineup, featuring returning favourites MARÈVA and SOKOTTA as well SubRooted’s very own DUBL-R - and Toronto DnB legend: HANSOHM 🔊!
Through SpaceCamp’s community-focused underground approach, our vision is to cultivate a new pocket of bass culture in Ottawa that celebrates connection and intention. We showcase talented DJs from Ottawa and across Canada, each bringing their unique selections that move both our bodies and our hearts!
As with all SpaceCamp events, Bass Station is a consent-forward, inclusive, body-positive, and queer-affirming space.
