Come and join us for an Amazing Animal Encounter where children will be supported and encouraged to get up close to a variety of small animals brought in. This event will enable the children to handle/touch a variety of small animals in a safe and secure environment. We will also be doing animal-related Arts and Crafts, decorating some snacks and playing animal games.Please bring a packed lunch (no nut products or fizzy drinks please)
Cost per child/young person : Space 2 Be Me Members only £13.50 per child – children with additional needs with their siblings
Space 2 Be Me Time drop and leave events are designed to give parents and carers a break in the school holidays. You can leave your children (aged 8 and over) with us for a few hours, safe in the knowledge that they will be looked after whilst you take some time out for yourself. Please note we will need you to fill in Space 2 Be Me “All About Me” form prior to confirming your booking which will be sent to you as soon as you book. We do not provide 1:1 support for the children but are happy for a PA to attend and stay with the child.
You will be required to a complete an ‘All About Me’ form for each young person attending our Space 2 Be Me Time. This will include details of any additional needs/disabilities, medical information, emergency contacts, likes and potential triggers etc. This information will be held by Space 2 Be Me inline with our privacy policy and will not be shared. If this is not received by 48 hours prior to the event you booking will be cancelled.
Not a member or need to renew? That is no problem - you can join here. Membership is open to all families with additional needs in West Kent and costs £10 per family per year.
