Local authour Mike Lamborn returns to Southend Libraries to present his latest novel, 'The Dreaming Season', the third and final instalment o fthe Woodcoombe Saga.

About the Author
Mike was born in Leigh-on-Sea in 1960 and enjoyed a successful 42-year career in the insurance industry before retiring in 2020. A lifelong sports enthusiast and keen yachtsman, he has competed in events including the Fastnet Race.
Shortly after retirement, Mike suffered a stroke that left him partially paralysed. Undeterred, he has faced the challenge with determination and resilience, embracing new goals and opportunities.
Mike is the author of the Woodcoombe Trilogy: Breathing Trees (2023), The Whispering Hill, and The Dreaming Season. He lives with his wife, Sally, and is the proud father of Emily and Toby.
