About this Event
ESAC Group invites you to Southampton's Diwali Mela 2026 — a free, family-friendly celebration of the festival of lights at Bitterne Park School. Wander the food and handicraft stalls, enjoy live cultural performances, and stay for a day filled with music, theatre and colour.
Two exclusive shows, presented twice
Krishna Leela, a brand-new theatrical production directed by Sutapa Mukherjee, and VYOMA — Elements in Motion, a special-edition fashion show directed by Haimanti Kumar, are performed back to back at 11am and again at 3pm. Seats are free but limited, so please book the session you would like to attend — up to four seats per booking. Please book one show session only per group, so we can welcome as many families as possible.
New for 2026 — the Rath Yatra and Grand Parade
At 2pm the celebrations move outdoors for a magnificent 45-minute procession, joined by the cast of both shows. No booking is needed — simply gather along the route and enjoy the spectacle.
Included with free entry
• Cultural performances by SIACS
• The Rath Yatra and Grand Parade at 2pm
• Delicious food stalls and a handicraft market
• Bollywood music from DJ Zaki

Please note that general entry does not include a seat for the shows. If you would like to watch Krishna Leela and VYOMA, simply book the free 11am or 3pm session ticket on this page.
