Join the Southampton Photography Community for our FREE monthly meetup!
Come along, grab a drink and enjoy some great photography conversation.
Our sessions last around two hours and include a mix of different segments:
Host-led opening chat – A relaxed introduction to get the evening going, covering anything from photography news and stories to industry updates.
Collaborative roundtable – A member-led discussion on a topic of their choice. This could be a book or film spotlight, a breakdown of a famous photograph, a gear chat, or "The Question You’ve Always Wanted to Ask" (no judgement here, especially for beginner questions).
Member showcases – At least two members get the opportunity to share their work. This could be a photo project, an edited series or narrative sequence, a photo critique, or a behind-the-scenes walkthrough of "How I Took the Shot".
Want to take part? Just get in touch with an admin. If you’re not quite sure what you’d like to do, simply let us know you’re interested and we’ll work something out together.
There’s absolutely no pressure to present, though. Feel free to just come along, grab a drink and enjoy the conversation, everyone is welcome!
