About this Event
This is a site visit to Glyncoch Primary School (Ysgol Gynradd Glyn-coch), the first of three new schools being built as part of the Welsh Government’s Sustainable Schools Challenge.
Known as The Compliance Project, this new primary school is a showcase for sustainable design. It will use Passivhaus principles, be net zero carbon in operation, and achieve BREEAM Outstanding and Building with Nature. It will also be the first school in Europe to meet the WELL Building Standard.
This visit is a great chance to see a future focused school project taking shape and learn how high standards for sustainability and wellbeing are being delivered in Wales.
