President Kiir was speaking when he received a detailed report from the Chief Administrator, Gola Boyoi Gola on the current state of affairs in the GPAA.
Speaking to the Press after the meeting, Gola said authorities have been engaging the youth on matters of peaceful of co-existence among communities in the area.
On the elections, the Chief Administrator said the people of GPAA are ready for the upcoming elections slated for December this year. He said they are preparing the ground for the conduct of the polls come December.
He said GPAA is rich in natural resources, and appealed to the national government to invest and engage in mining activities to enhance economic growth of the nation.
