**South Central Speed League Season Opener****Corpus Christi, Texas**
**September 26-27, 2026**
Get ready to kick off the 2026-2027 South Central Speed League season with an exciting weekend of racing on the Texas Coast!
Join skaters from across the region for two days of fast-paced competition, great sportsmanship, and an incredible atmosphere as we begin another outstanding season of speed skating.
This event features competition for skaters of all ages and experience levels, including:
* Star Skate Division
* Novice Division
* Elite Division
* Quad Racing
* Inline Racing
* 2-Person Relays
* 3-Person Relays
Whether you're racing for the first time or chasing a podium finish, this is the perfect event to start the season. Bring your teammates, family, and friends, then enjoy everything beautiful Corpus Christi has to offer after the races.
**Registration Information**
**Club Entries Due:** Friday, September 18, 2026
**Entry Fees**
* **Star Skate:** $25.00
Includes one Star Skate division and one Star Skate relay.
* **Novice or Elite:** $40.00
Includes one division (Quad *or* Inline) plus all relays.
* **Quad & Inline:** $50.00
Includes both Quad and Inline divisions plus all relays.
All entry fees cover **both days of competition**.
Entries received after **September 18, 2026**, will incur a **$20.00 late fee per skater**.
Entry packets will be distributed to all registered clubs within the South Central Region.
Skaters and clubs from **outside the South Central Region are welcome to participate.**
