Rae Studios is partnering with RPCollective to bring a vibrant lineup of South Asian Fusion dance styles to the studio! Join us for three special classes featuring Bhangra, Bollywood Fusion, and South Asian Semiclassical, taught by talented guest instructors from RPCollective.
- October 11th 2:00–3:30 PM | Beginner/Intermediate Bhangra with Aryaa Pathak
- October 17th 6:00–7:30 PM | Advanced Bollywood Fusion with Ashna Singh
- November 15th 1:30–3:00 PM | Intermediate/Advanced Semiclassical with Riya Patel

Intermediate/Advanced Semiclassical with Riya Patel

Explore the expressive and detailed movement vocabulary of South Asian Semiclassical dance. This intermediate/advanced class focuses on technique, musicality, storytelling, and choreography, incorporating elements of classical Indian dance with contemporary influences. Students should have prior dance experience and be comfortable with more detailed movement and choreography.
Riya, founder of RPC and director of RPCollective, has been dancing since the age of 3 with a strong focus on South Asian styles and fusion. She is thrilled to bring Semiclassical to Rae Studios and invites you to come explore this style with her.
