Greetings Athens Reggae massive🇯🇲🇬🇷Origins Sound System is back for another heavyweight session, as part of our 12 year anniversary celebration🥳
This time we are excited to host a very special guest that has taken the UK Soundsystem scene by storm. Shere Khan Lyle ''The Jungle Cat'', is the man behind Shere Khan Sound System , the record label Shere Khan Sound, and a long running Roots/Reggae/Dub radio show on lifefm.tv.
Nurtured by Channel One Sound System as part of their crew, he developed his passion for the music and the soundsystem culture from an early age. Being a part of the Dub Vendor team, one of the oldest running UK Reggae record shops, gave him unlimited access to fresh music and connection with the artists themselves.
As part of the Roots On The Corner collective, his soundsystem has travelled all over the UK to share stages with many well established sound systems such as Iration Steppas Official, Entebbe Soundsystem, ITAL POWER Soundsystem, Lord Ambassador Sound System, Roots Sensation, Mighty Oak Sound, Roots Garden Records, Green King Soundsystem,/Oneness high vibration, Jah messenjah soundsystem, Heavytone Hi-Fi, Alliance Sound System, @Rdk hi-fi, FATMAN SOUND SYSTEM, Jah Orthodox Sound system , Jah Tubbys, Touch above soundsystem and many more.
He has appeared as a selector @dubquakeweekender and in numerous sessions worldwide.
His tuff selection, including heavy dubplates and unreleased treasures mash up dancefloors internationally.
His performance in Athens back in 2018 is memorable and kept the crowd skanking till the morning time🔈🔉🔊
