In August, GATO6 returns to The Mount! Led by composer George Oldziey, GATO 6 is Austin’s premier Latin Jazz band. This high-powered, all-star ensemble performs Oldziey’s original music, which draws on his myriad world music and jazz influences. The band features locally, nationally, and internationally renowned artists. For this performance, GATO 6 is joined by Lenox’s own Suzi Stern, renowned jazz vocalist, lyricist, composer, and educator.
