Midnight In Harlem. The Long Cut. Still A Southern Man. Resignation Superman. Long Train Runnin'.Thirty songs. One stage. Zero group rehearsals.
ELECTRIC ROOTS, Soundhaus St. Louis' 75th session, comes to The Duck Room at Blueberry Hill for another night of one-time-only performances by some of the area's most talented local musicians.
From the fiery country swagger of Kerosene, to the soul and grit of Soulshine, the heartland spirit of Lonesome Day, and the driving energy of Finest Worksong, this 30-song set explores the rich intersection of roots rock, Americana, Southern rock, blues, country, and jam music while bringing together a different lineup of local musicians on every song.
Soundhaus returns with another evening where preparation meets performance. Every song features musicians who have never rehearsed together as a group, creating a live music experience that's as rewarding for the players as it is for the audience.
No group rehearsals. No safety net. Just prepared musicians, great songs, and a room full of people pulling for each other.
One night. One session. One-time-only, high-level performances.
It's crazy how it works.
