Capricorn season pushes us to build, but there's a real difference between discipline and devotion. Discipline is what gets you up the mountain. Devotion is why the climb means something. This crystal sound bath sits with that difference, turning January's resolutions into something closer to a practice you actually love.Haven't done a sound bath before? You'll lie down (or sit, whatever's comfortable) while crystal singing bowls fill the space with sound. There's nothing to perform and nothing you need to know going in. Your only job is to close your eyes and let the vibration do its work. Most people walk away surprised at how much lighter they feel.
Heaven-Lea, LMT/NMT and shamanic practitioner and owner of Khahik Somatics, has led this crystal sound bath series at the Gardens for three years.
A note on winter weather: we hold this outside, in the sun, so mornings can start out cool this time of year. The sun warms things up fast once we're underway, and three years into running this series, it's never once been too cold to hold session.

Location: Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens, Punta Gorda
Cost: Donation-based, split 50/50 between Heaven-Lea and the Gardens to support community education and environmental preservation; your donation also covers same-day admission to the Gardens
All levels welcome, no experience needed
What to bring:
A mat, blanket, or something comfortable to lie on
A towel to put under your mat, since the ground is sometimes damp
Something to cover your eyes or face if the sun gets to be too much
A layer you can peel off as the morning warms up
A water bottle
