What is Sound Vibration Work?
Sound Vibration Work® is a method that combines Sound Healing and Vibroacoustic techniques for facilitating sound and vibration experiences in wellness contexts.
The training brings together Sound Healing techniques, Tibetan singing bowls, contemplative music practices, body-based vibration and an introduction to the use of vibroacoustic devices and low-frequency sound.
Rather than focusing only on instruments, Sound Vibration Work develops the facilitator’s capacity to create safe and coherent experiences through sound, vibration, listening, therapeutic presence and somatic awareness.
Throughout the training, students learn how to facilitate individual and group practices designed to support relaxation, receptivity, body awareness, meditation and general wellbeing.
Sound Vibration Work and Vibroacoustics
Vibroacoustic principles are an important part of the Sound Vibration Work methodology.
Students are introduced to the transfer of sound vibration through Tibetan bowls and vibroacoustic devices and learn how low-frequency vibration can be integrated into wellness sessions.
The objective is to understand vibroacoustic resources, experience them in practice and learn when their use may — or may not — be appropriate within a Sound Vibration Work session.
Sound Vibration Work is a wellness-oriented training. It does not constitute professional training in Vibroacoustic Therapy or qualify participants to treat medical or psychological conditions.
Professionals wishing to study the clinical and therapeutic application of low-frequency sound and vibroacoustic devices can explore our advanced Vibroacoustic Therapy program.
What will you learn?
Throughout Modules 3–10, you will learn how to:
- Facilitate individual and group sound experiences for wellbeing.
- Use Tibetan singing bowls and other acoustic instruments with clear intention and technique.
- Create Sound Baths and contemplative sound practices.
- Apply sound vibration directly to the body using appropriate techniques.
- Understand the basic principles of low-frequency vibroacoustic stimulation.
- Gain practical experience with vibroacoustic devices.
- Integrate acoustic and electronically generated vibration within wellness sessions.
- Use Anxiolytic Music Improvisation® (AMI) to support receptivity and deep relaxation.
- Work with mental imagery in sound and vibration experiences.
- Develop listening, therapeutic presence and somatic awareness.
- Understand concepts such as resonance and entrainment.
- Design coherent Sound Vibration Work sessions according to the needs and context of the participant.
About Module 3: Sound Bath Techniques
March 13th, 2027 | 10:00–13:30
Learn the fundamental principles and techniques for creating Sound Baths using Tibetan singing bowls and other accessible acoustic instruments.
About Module 4: Introduction to Vibroacoustic Devices
March 13th, 2027 | 14:00–18:00
Discover how low-frequency sound can be experienced through the body using vibroacoustic devices such as the Viset Pillow.
You will gain hands-on experience with vibroacoustic stimulation before learning how these resources can be incorporated appropriately into wellness-oriented Sound Vibration Work sessions.
About Module 5: Integrate Sound Healing and Vibroacoustics
April 17th, 2027 | 10:00–13:00
Learn how to combine sound bath techniques and direct vibration through instruments and electronically generated low-frequency vibration within a coherent Sound Vibration Work practice.
About Module 6: Anxiolytic Music Improvisation® (AMI)
April 17th, 2027 | 14:00–18:00
The AMI technique will enable you to conduct Sound Vibration Work processes and facilitate receptivity and states of deep relaxation.
About Module 7: Mental Imagery in Sound Vibration Work
May 22nd, 2027 | 10:00–13:00
How can we guide consciousness through powerful sensory images that complement the vibrational experience?
Explore the role of mental imagery in receptive sound experiences and learn different ways of guiding attention and consciousness through sensory imagery.
About Module 8: Vibroacoustic Awareness and Somatic Perception
May 22nd, 2027 | 14:00–18:00
Explore resonance and entrainment and develop Vibroacoustic Listening techniques.
You will learn how sound and vibration can support body awareness, interoceptive attention and somatic integration.
About Module 9: Therapeutic Presence in Sound Vibration Work
June 19th, 2027 | 10:00–13:00
Instruments and techniques alone do not create a meaningful Sound Vibration Work experience. In this workshop, you will learn the most important aspect of Sound Vibration Work, without which your practice will always be incomplete.
About Module 10: The Sound Vibration Mandala
June 19th, 2027 | 14:00–18:00
Learn how to integrate different Sound Healing approaches into group experiences and how to structure a Sound Vibration Mandala using sound, vibration, silence and spatial awareness.
Who is this training for?
Sound Vibration Work is designed for people who want to integrate sound and vibration into wellness, relaxation, meditation, bodywork and complementary practices.
Previous clinical or healthcare training is not required.
Professionals from therapeutic or healthcare disciplines are also welcome and may integrate the resources learned into their existing professional practice, always within the scope of their qualifications.
