About this Event
This Friday 13th November, step into the shadows and celebrate the magic of female creation at WaterBear Music Bar.
Sound Sister Collective is bringing together an extraordinary lineup of artists for an atmospheric night dedicated to sacred sisterhood and incredible music.
From ethereal electronic production and Celtic-infused chamber-pop to a powerful 20-strong witchy choir, this night is built by women for everyone who loves an immersive and transformative show.
VERONICA (EP Release Showcase: 'The Cupboard')
Originally hailing from Milan and now based in the UK, singer-songwriter and self-producing artist Veronica (@veronicamusiic) brings her enchanted, alluring soundscapes to Brighton to celebrate her new EP, The Cupboard.
Taking full control of her creative vision to challenge the male-dominated industry, Veronica crafts ethereal production, layered vocal harmonies, and haunting soundscapes that draw comparisons to Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Aurora, and FKA Twigs.
CHARLIE O"CONNOR
Charlie O'Connor is a singer-songwriter, making music for feminist witches and sensitive creative “weirdos” with alt-folk, chamber-pop and Celtic influences. Inspired by poets, nature and folklore, her songwriting is deeply honest, playful, and open-hearted. Her new live project, Charlie O’Connor & The Wilds, brings her creations to life with 4-part harmonies, deep piano and earthy acoustic guitars. Mischievous and witty by nature, she guides audiences on a journey through all emotions; leaving them feeling held, empowered, and maybe even a little bit lighter than before.
THE COVEN CHOIR
Meet Brighton’s witchiest community choir — The Coven Choir. A women’s* singing group powered by magick, sisterhood, community spirit and biscuits. With musical influences ranging from our Pagan ancestors, modern singer-songwriter styles, indie-folk and more, the coven brings the sass, the passion, the rebellious joy and the fire!
*The Coven Choir is a celebration of the feminine, a celebration of female empowerment through voice, we welcome all women-identifying and non-binary people into the fold.
** Adoring fans of all genders are welcome to our shows.
