A guided sound meditation with gong, drum, didgeridoo, and voice at Harumi Yoga in Scottsdale. No experience needed. Come lie down.About this Event
Sound is one of the oldest medicines on earth. Long before clinical language, people used rhythm, resonance, and vibration to shift how they feel and to rest the body. Every culture has its own version of this.
I lead these sessions with gong, drum, voice, didgeridoo, and instruments gathered from around the world. The soundscape is layered to help you move from your ordinary waking state into deep rest. You don't have to do anything except lie down and receive. In that stillness, tension often releases and the nervous system settles.
How the evening unfolds
We open with a brief guided relaxation to help you settle and let go of the day. Then comes the meditation itself, a full soundscape built from many instruments that shifts from activating to deep and still. We end with silence and space before you are gently guided back. Some sessions close with a short, optional time for reflection.
No prior meditation experience is needed.
What is provided
Yoga mats, cushions and bolsters, and blankets.
What to bring
An eye pillow or scarf, a water bottle, comfortable layers, and a journal if you like to write afterward.
Ready to rest? Come lie down and let the sound carry you.
