Sound Bath & Tea Conversation: Tea, Coffee & the Science of Longevity
What if an afternoon could begin with doing absolutely nothing… and end with a conversation about what might help us live longer?
On October 4, we’ll start with a deep Sound Bath with Tibetan singing bowls and a gong. It's a gentle but powerful way to let the body soften, quiet the mental noise and enter a meditative state. No meditation experience needed: simply lie down, listen and let the sound do its work.
Then we’ll slowly come back through tea. Our tea expert Luca will guide us through a Chinese style tea brewing and tasting session while we explore a surprisingly controversial question:
Tea or coffee - what does the science actually say about them for longevity?
Rather than choosing sides, we’ll look at current research, talk about what it really tells us (and what it doesn’t), and of course drink some good tea along the way.
For those who don't drink tea, we'll offer a herbal infusion.
