Fall Equinox Special Sound BathMark the turning of the season with an extended, immersive sound bath at the JACC. As day and night fall into balance, join Melissa Dodge-Hutchins (sound bowls), Dale Young (Native American flute), and Patrick Hutchins (chimes and percussion) for 90 minutes of resonant sound — 30 minutes longer than our usual evening — designed to help you slow down, release, and settle into the season's shift.
The blend of singing bowls, Native American flute, and gentle percussion creates a wash of sound meant to ease tension in the body and quiet the mind. No experience necessary — simply arrive, lie back, and let the sound do the rest.
Bring: a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow — whatever helps you get comfortable. Most participants lie down on the floor for the full experience.
