ABOUT MARCUS
A multi-instrumentalist known primarily for his stylistically diverse work on guitar, Marcus Machado has been deeply involved with the music since he was a toddler. His first public audience was his kindergarten class, when he performed 's "The Sky Cries Mary" on guitar synthesizer. Machado picked up keyboards, bass, and drums as a youngster, but guitar remained his true calling, and he became known for his mixture of blues, funk, jazz, and rock, inspired by and other giants, including , , and . Before he was old enough to drive, Machado performed the National Anthem prior to an Orlando Magic NBA game and released his first album, Live at Will's Pub. As a young adult, he became a seasoned touring and recording side musician with , Boris Titulaer, , and 's . In 2015, through , Machado released 29, a predominantly instrumental EP that switched easily between fiery and relaxed material. and appeared as guest artists. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
