This hands-on Soulful Cajun cooking class captures the rhythm, warmth, and hospitality of Cajun country, where every meal is a celebration of family, music, and survival. Food in the bayou is a love language passed down through generations. You will learn how to build deep, complex flavors from scratch.
On the Menu:
- Jambalaya: A rich, smoky, one-pot masterpiece built on the holy trinity of vegetables, loaded with chicken, andouille, and shrimp with perfectly spiced rice to evoke the energy of a backyard communal gathering.
- Cajun Collard Greens: Tender, velvety greens braised in a savory, smoky broth that carries the comforting, nostalgic depth of a Sunday family dinner.
- Beignets: Pillowy, golden squares of fried dough buried under a mountain of powdered sugar, bringing the sweet, magical romance of the French Quarter straight to your fingertips.
Every guest will receive comprehensive cooking instructions and chef-crafted recipes to recreate each dish at home.
