Soul’d Out Presents Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons with Freddy Trujillo Band at Jack London Revue on Wednesday, December 30Portland’s own Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons return for their annual New Year’s Eve run, four nights at four of the city’s favorite rooms, each with a completely different setlist and not a single song repeated.
Joseph, bassist Steve James and drummer Steve Drizos kick things off at Jack London Revue with Freddy Trujillo Band, the Portland songwriter and bassist of The Delines and Richmond Fontaine. A songwriter’s songwriter, a commanding vocalist and a formidable guitarist, Jerry Joseph has spent decades building a singular body of work that moves between rock, punk, roots and the improvisational spirit of the jam band world. His songs have been recorded by many artists, most notably Widespread Panic.
