Join us in-person for a special and meaningful expressive wellness experience. This workshop is facilitated by a registered art therapist and a board-certified music therapist who will be guiding participants through a variety of expressive wellness tools to support healing from grief. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning these creative techniques for self-care. Therapists will earn a certificate with 4 contact hours.

Whether you're new SoulCollage® or already have a deck of your own, this creative workshop will inspire reflection & respect for the community and the connections in your life. The Community Suit in SoulCollage® honors the connections that have influenced our lives; family and ancestors, friends, teachers, healers, and loved ones, beloved pets, meaningful groups, even public or historical figures that deeply inspire or challenge you. Each presence carries a unique energy, a role in your personal narrative, and a message to share. By recognizing and honoring these influences, you deepen your understanding of who you are, and how your life has been shaped through relationship and connection.

SoulCollage® is a powerful process to support grief work, it uses the power of collaged images to assist us in expressing and discovering our own innate answers, gifts, and our helpers that travel with us on our grief journey as we move towards healing and understanding. This intuitive process offers a gentle, image-based approach that allows individuals to express emotions that often cannot be captured with words. Through creating personal cards, guided reflection, and witnessing within community, participants discover resources for meaning-making, continuing bonds, resilience, and healing.

Those who complete this workshop will:

*Gain a brief introduction to the SoulCollage® process

*Personally experience the SoulCollage® process through card-making

*Personally experience several Expressive Wellness techniques

*Gain a basic understanding of the Community Suit

*Identify therapeutic situations which are likely to respond well to the SoulCollage® and Expressive Wellness interventions

*Gain practical information regarding materials and other resources for SoulCollage®
