About this Event
Panorama Mezcal presents a Sotol Masterclass, Guided Tasting & Educational Panel as part of Sotol Week 2026.
Led by spirits educator and writer Tess Rose Lampert, this intimate conversation brings together five experts representing different sotol producers and projects:
Juan Pablo Carvajal
Los Magos Sotol
Claudia Romo
Sotol Romo Sotol
Carla Varenzuela
Casa Lotos Sotol
Alessandra Camino
Armónico Sotol
Luigi Ambrosi
Cardenxe Sotol
Throughout the panel, guests will sip sotol from the five participating brands while learning about the Dasylirion plant, sotol producing regions, traditional and contemporary production methods, and the people behind each expression.
Tess will lead the panel through five central questions, giving each expert an opportunity to introduce their brand, share key information about their production and join a larger conversation about sotol.
