SORUDO Armed Defense Seminar – Bristol 2027Real-world self-defense is not about memorizing perfect techniques. It is about understanding the situation, reacting under pressure and being able to adapt when circumstances change. This two-day SORUDO seminar in Bristol focuses on the fundamental principles of defense against armed attacks. The training is divided into two parts: empty-handed defense against a knife and other weapons, followed by defense using improvised tools.
The seminar introduces the SORUDO approach to practical self-defense, with an emphasis on simple principles, adaptability and realistic application.
Day 1 – Hands vs. Knife & Other Weapons
Saturday, January 30, 2027 | 12:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The first day will focus on the fundamentals of empty-handed defense against knife attacks and other armed threats.
Participants will explore basic principles of movement, positioning and reaction when facing an armed attacker without having a defensive tool immediately available.
Day 2 – Armed Defense & Improvised Tools
Sunday, January 31, 2027 | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The second day will introduce armed defense using simple and improvised tools, including stick-like objects and kubotan-type tools.
The training will focus on the fundamental principles of using these tools in the context of practical self-defense.
