We are thrilled to welcome SORIAH, internationally-acclaimed throat singer and ritual artist, for our eighth iteration of Inner Alchemy!SORIAH weaves Tuvan throat singing, pre-Columbian sounds, classical Indian raga, and modern Western styles, looping and processing his voice and traditional instruments into lush sonic tapestries. His lyrics are often written in Nahuatl (Mexica/Aztec) or Tuvan, preserving and expressing cultural mysteries with reverence and wonder.
“The Tuvan throat singing phenomenon that is SORIAH will take you to that holy place whenever you lend an ear to his music.”
– David J (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, Night Crickets)

Inner Alchemy is a live ambient music concert series, taking place every third Thursday at Float On. This is yet another mind blowing installment in our ongoing series where artists perform live in our lobby, while the music is fed directly through our float tanks and into the ears of our chilled-out floaters. There's no musical experience like it in all the galaxy!
You are able to self-book a music float on our website, at floaton.coop. Please reach out to Float On at (503) 384-2620 or [email protected] for assistance.
They are the same price as our regular floats plus an extra $40 that goes to the artist. Members can book the floats for their membership price + $40. If you have float credits on your account you can use them, but you just need to call the shop to have us book the slot for you.
If the tanks are fully booked, you are welcome to enjoy the music from our lobby.
See you soon!
