Songs for Survivors of the 21st Century is a moving and uplifting new opera theatre show written by Vanessa Oakes (words) and Vahan Salorian (music).A life-affirming and heartfelt celebration of our shared humanity, Songs for Survivors of the 21st Century welcomes the audience into an Emergency Reception Centre as survivors of the current loneliness epidemic.
Funny as well as sometimes sad, this show reminds us that connection and belonging matter, and asks what would happen if only we had more time for each other.
