Come celebrate the Fall Season with the beautiful music and worship of Taizé. A Taizé service is a contemplative Christian worship practice originating from the ecumenical monastic community in Taizé, France. It features candlelit spaces, repetitive scriptural chants, scripture readings, and 5 to 10 minutes of silent meditation to help you find inner stillness and connect with God.
The Taizé style of worship is defined by its contemplative rhythm. It invites participants to enter a "common prayer" that requires no hymnal or sermon to understand, only a willingness to join one’s voice with others in a chant that becomes, over time, a resting place for the presence of God.
