This special day offers the opportunity to experience traditional merit making practices, receive blessings, and immerse yourself in the richness of Thai culture right here in Hervey Bay.
Throughout the day, you’ll be able to take part in a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony with monks, enjoy authentic Thai food and desserts, and experience cultural performances that bring the spirit of Songkran to life. A highlight of the event is the traditional water blessing, symbolising cleansing, respect and good fortune for the year ahead.
This is a family-friendly event designed to bring the community together in a welcoming, respectful and vibrant atmosphere.
