Join a friendly group of mixed-level mah jong players at the lower level of Panera in Porter Square. We range from beginner to intermediate and welcome new players who can play independently.Bring your 2026 NMJL card and a set if you can (depending on number of players, we'll have 2 sets available).
There is no cost to attend but we ask that you purchase a drink and/or food to support Panera for letting us use their space.
2 hours free parking is available in the Porter Square lot
We're hoping to create a recurring event if we have interest and we're asking for suggestions of ideas for more convenient venues.
Note: This event is for people who already know how to play; if you are looking to learn, we have another event on Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 at the Somerville West library.
