About this Event
Sometimes grief doesn't need to be talked about.
Sometimes it simply needs somewhere it is allowed to be.
Somewhere you don't have to explain what happened.
Somewhere no one needs you to be okay.
Somewhere tears don't make everyone uncomfortable.
Somatic Rest for Grief & Heartache is a gentle, 60-minute restorative wellness experience created for the moments when your heart is carrying something heavy.
You may be grieving the death of someone you love. A relationship. An estrangement. A friendship. A dream. A season of your life. A version of yourself. Or something you don't quite have words for.
You never have to tell us what you're grieving.
There is no group sharing. No advice giving. No expectation that you tell your story.
This is not group therapy or a grief-support group. It is a restorative wellness experience. A quiet, intentionally held space where grief and heartache are welcome to exist without needing to be analyzed, processed, fixed, or resolved.
What to Expect
Throughout the evening, we'll gently weave together guided meditation, somatic awareness, reflective journaling, original music, gentle body-led movement, and restorative rest.
Everything is an invitation.
If tears come, they are welcome.
If you want to lie underneath a blanket and listen to the music, you can.
If you want to write, move gently, breathe, sit quietly, or simply rest in the presence of other human beings, you can.
And there is absolutely no expectation that you cry.
Nothing needs to happen.
Nothing needs to be released.
Nothing needs to be fixed.
Whatever is here is allowed to be here.
A Different Kind of Space
There can be something profoundly comforting about gathering in a room where no one expects anything from you.
Because this is a shared space, we honor one another's experience without trying to change it.
If someone becomes emotional, we allow them the dignity of having their own experience. There is no need to comfort, advise, hug, or make someone's tears stop. We simply allow one another to be.
Without fixing.
Without comparing.
Without pretending.
Just human beings sharing a quiet moment together.
Created with Intention
Throughout the evening, the practices are designed to support:
• Gentle nervous system regulation
• Greater connection with your body
• Emotional awareness and self-compassion
• Space to slow down and listen inward
• Deep rest and restoration
There is no right way to experience the evening.
You are always welcome to participate in the way that feels most supportive to your body. You may modify an invitation, skip something entirely, rest, change positions, or step outside for a moment if you need to.
Your body belongs to you. Your experience belongs to you.
If your heart has been carrying something heavy and you've been longing for somewhere you don't have to hold it quite so tightly, I'd be honored to welcome you under the willow tree.

About Your Guide
Hi, I'm Natalie, founder of Under the Willow Tree.
I'm a Certified Somatic Practitioner, Certified Yoga Therapist, meditation teacher, and Positive Psychology Practitioner with a Master's degree in Positive Psychology and Life Coaching. My passion is creating gentle, restorative experiences that help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience greater presence in everyday life.
Rather than teaching techniques or asking you to perform, I create welcoming spaces where you can simply arrive as you are. Every invitation is offered with choice, curiosity, and compassion, allowing you to experience each gathering in whatever way feels most supportive to you.
Under the Willow Tree is a healing space dedicated to helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and come home to what matters most, through presence, reflection, nature, and restorative experiences.
My hope is that every gathering leaves you feeling more connected to yourself and more grounded in the present moment.
At Under the Willow Tree, I don't believe healing can be forced. Instead, I create environments where healing is more likely. Spaces with enough time, choice, compassion, and quiet for you to slow down, listen inward, and honor whatever you find.
I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with you.
