If you work with coating thickness measurement, material analysis, or quality control, this informative workshop will give you a direct look at how our instruments perform in the real world. Akmal Wardak, technical sales engineer at Fischer Technology, will be running live demonstrations and walking through a few key application areas:
- XRF Analysis: Precise single- or multi-layer coating thickness measurement, bath composition analysis (including contaminant tracking), and process control strategies for RoHS compliance.
- Tactile & Portable Measurement: Handheld solutions for non-destructive coating thickness across various substrates, measuring ferrite content in stainless or duplex steels, and phase-sensitive testing for copper and PCB applications.
- Gold & Precious Metals: Rapid, non-destructive verification of gold karats and alloy concentrations for immediate valuation, along with authenticity checks to detect counterfeit cores (like tungsten) in bars and coins using electrical conductivity.
Since the session runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we’ll be treating everyone to a nice catered lunch to celebrate the new space together after the demos wrap up.
