¡Ometeotl!
¡Tlazocamati Huitzilopochtli!
¡Que viva nuestra tradición y nuestra cultura!

HUITZILOPOCHTLI CEREMONY
Winter Solstice
We gather to receive the Winter Solstice and honor Huitzilopochtli, solar force, guide of the people and symbol of will, movement and perseverance.
In this sacred moment, we approach the fire, the copal, the word and the dance to give thanks for the cycle that ends and receive with respect the new path that begins.
Through dance, singing, music, offering and ceremony, we remember our ancestors and strengthen our ties as a community.
Huitzilopochtli reminds us that the path requires discipline, heart, courage and commitment. Just as the Sun is reborn after the longest night, we also have the opportunity to renew our strength and our purpose.
We invite our families, elders, young people, dancers, and community to join us in this moment of respect, reflection, renewal and unity.
Let's bring our palabra with respect, our heart with humility and our presence with intention.
Tlazocamati to those who walk with us.
Ometeotl!
Tlazocamati Huitzilopochtli!
Long live our tradition and our culture!
